Well as of today there is exactly 37 days till I turn 30. I can't believe it. I bet some of you read that and think "30? What I wouldn't give to be 30 again. Or 30's nothing your still a baby." Well regardless of what you think for me it is big. You know it's the oldest I have ever been. It also really has me reflecting on my life. Where I've been, what I've done, and what I had hoped I would have done, thinks like that. I've never had this list of things to accomplish before ____ (you fill in the blank), so it isn't like I'm looking at this list I made when I was in high school or college of things to do before I turn 30. But at the same time it gets me thinking.
I think a lot about what I've done...
I'm a mom to 2 beautiful girls
A Wife to a great Godly man
I've succeeded in college, when it looked like from high school that may not have happened, and even excelled there.
I've been to France and England (thanks Aunt Carol I still think of that trip so fondly).
I've been to Hawaii
I've started my own business (though it's still small).
I've learned to challenge myself.
I've tried so many new things I never thought I would.
But when I think about what I've done there always seems to be a list of what I haven't done.... YET!
See all 50 states (I've only been to about 11 give or take and I don't count drive-threw or Layovers).
Run a 5K.
Reach my goal weight.
Have a house with a wrap around porch.
Expand my business
But I know there's time, even though I feel like 30 is such a big milestone I also know I'm still young. I have lots of life to live and I look forward to living it healthier, happier, stronger, and Godlier (is that a word? well you know what I mean).
How I play the role of Mommy, Wife, Chef, Housekeeper, and Small Business Owner all in a day’s work.

A day in my life
Well it has yet again been a long time since I last posted anything. Sorry if you are one of the handful of people who actually read my blog. We have been busy enjoying our life and loving it to the fullest. We recently went on a cruise and visited Disney World while in port one day. I just registered S for Kindergarten and can't believe she is going to be getting on the School bus next year (Ok the truth is I'm not sure she will ride the bus or if I will drop her off and pick her up we shall see).
K is getting big 15 months old now and weighing in at 19.5 lbs and about 27.5 inches. You maybe thinking for a 15 month old that is small and you'd be right but she started out at 5lbs 7oz so she has come a long way. She walks, runs, walks backwards, babbles and makes the cutest squint faces. She snuggles every night with her new Simba stuffed animal she got a Disney and it is too cute.
So it feels like Spring is here in the Northeast we might his 80 degrees this weekend I think is what I heard. That is CRAZY! It wasn't 80 degrees in the Bahamas when we were there on our cruise. We have been outside playing and enjoying the weather.
I have to say I'm pretty proud of myself I just finished week 6 of the Couch to 5K program and start week 7 tomorrow. I never actually thought I would get this far in the program to be honest. I had good intentions but I always do so I'm not sure what made it happen this time but I am so excited to finish this up and I found I really like to run.
So that's where we are. We are enjoying our beautiful girls, loving our warm weather, hitting the gym and life is good.
